Refund Policy
Last Updated June 2026
At Seelengarten, I value your time and commitment, and I ask that you respect mine in return. Because I operate as a sole provider, late cancellations and missed appointments significantly impact my business.
Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By scheduling an appointment or purchasing a service through my website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I require at least 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled start time.
-
With Sufficient Notice: If you cancel or reschedule outside of the notice window, you can do so free of charge via your Wix client account or by contacting me directly. Any payments made online will be fully refunded or credited toward your next session.
-
Late Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule within 12 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total session fee may apply.
-
No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without giving any prior notice, the full session fee (100%) will be charged, and no refund or credit will be issued.
2. Late Arrivals
Your session will begin and end at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, your session time may be shortened to accommodate appointments scheduled after yours. The full fee for the scheduled duration of the session will still apply.
3. Exceptional Circumstances
I understand that emergencies, sudden illnesses, and unforeseen life events happen. If you must cancel late due to a genuine emergency, please contact me as soon as possible, and I will do my best to work with you fairly on a case-by-case basis.
4. If I Need to Cancel
In the rare event that I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to illness, an emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, I will give you as much notice as possible. You will be given the choice of a priority reschedule or a full refund for that session.
5. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). If a service I provide fails to meet the legal guarantees of acceptable quality or fitness for purpose, I will remedy the issue in accordance with your legal rights, which may include a remedy, alternative session, or refund.
